LED panel lights have become the default choice for false ceilings in Pakistani homes, offices and showrooms. They are slim, efficient and give a clean, modern look — but picking the right size and type makes all the difference.
Slim panel vs adjustable ice panel
A slim panel has a fixed size (6", 8" or 2x2ft) and needs a matching ceiling cut-out. An adjustable ice panel has a frameless, edge-lit design with sliding springs that fit a range of cut-out sizes — ideal for renovations where existing holes don't match.
Choose wattage by room size
- 12W – washrooms, stores and corridors
- 18W – bedrooms and kitchens (6" panel)
- 24W – lounges and drawing rooms (8" panel)
- 36W–42W – offices, clinics and showrooms (2x2ft)
Colour temperature
Cool white / daylight (6000–6500K) suits kitchens, offices and shops where clarity matters. Warm white (3000K) creates a relaxed feel in bedrooms and dining areas.
Plan the layout
As a rule of thumb, space panels roughly 1.2–1.5 metres apart and keep them at least 60cm from walls for even, shadow-free light.
